About Sonia

After 20 years working in various medical practices including ENT, dermatology, urgent care, and internal medicine, I have found my home at Mill City Medical. Mill City’s Patient Care Team Model ensures patients feel connected to their healthcare team and encourages providers to consult with one another to deliver the absolute best care possible. It’s no surprise that we’re ranked in the Top 1% of all primary care practices.

Being a PA allows me to help patients understand their acute and chronic illnesses. I take pride in getting to know my patients and assisting them in making informed decisions about their medical care. It is immensely satisfying to see favorable outcomes for my patients through collaboration with the entire healthcare team.

Lowell is a wonderfully diverse community, and I am honored to provide care to patients who share similar values. As the daughter of immigrants, I remember navigating the healthcare system with my parents. Now, I have the opportunity to give back to the community that supported my growth and success. For the Portuguese-speaking community, I can communicate effectively with patients and help them navigate the healthcare system with confidence.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my husband and twin boys. We love traveling to different destinations, trying new foods, and enjoying the outdoors together as a family.

I am very satisfied with the service I am now receiving. I know if I ever felt I needed anything more, if they couldn’t help me directly they would point me in the direction I would get the best help.
